This is a warm folk-Celtic collaboration in Fletcher and John’s first CD. Most of the songs are original. The title cut “On the Rivershore” reflects life in small villages along the Rio Grande in northern New Mexico where they both reside. Many of the other songs are also reflections inspired by life in the high desert. Vocal pieces are balanced with original instrumentals such as “Remembering” and “Carolina Music Night” as well as a few of their favorite Celtic tunes, such as “Calliope House/Cowboy Jig”. They are joined by Don Richmond of Howlin’ Dog Recording who engineered the CD and adds some beautiful instrumental touches of his own.
